ENRICHMENT CLASSES FROM THE DIOCESE
Fr. Bill Taylor will offer a Fall course on the history of the church at St.
Stephen Church, Saginaw. Class will take place Thursday’s 7:00 p.m. to 9:15
p.m. on the following dates: September 24; October 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; and
November 5, 12. There is no charge but please pre-register by calling 799-2334
so they know how many to prepare for.
UNIVERSITY OF DAYTON ONLINE
Virtual Learning Community for Faith Formation (VLCFF) is a growing
initiative to offer adult religious education and faith formation anytime and
anywhere via the internet. The goal is to support the church's professional
ministry of religious education and faith formation in cyberspace.
These courses
are an excellent way for parish and
school catechists to obtain certifica-
tion, and for all adults to learn more
about the Catholic faith. Each course
has 12-14 participants and more than 40 dioceses are part-
ners with the
University
of Dayton.
Some of the courses
offered include: “Catholic Beliefs,” “Introduction to Scrip-
ture,” “Sacraments,” “Images of Jesus,” and many more top-
ics for learning about the Catholic faith in your own home.
Plan now to participate. The cost for each course is $40.
